Today’s Miracle Monday is a short, sweet dream submitted by Sister Virginia Surprenant.

Years ago, I had a dream where I was being examined by an eye doctor who I was working for at the time. The doctor had his back to me and told me that I needed glasses and showed me the glasses. To me, they were not what I would have chosen, as they had clear lenses.

I said, “No, I don’t want those glasses. I want dark lenses.” He said, “No, you need to wear these clear ones.” I continued to argue when, suddenly, the doctor turned to face me, and it was not the doctor but Brother Joe Milantoni who said, “Wear these glasses. You will not be sorry.”

I woke knowing that although I wanted to see things through dark-colored glasses, God wanted me to see clearly and not be fooled by seeing through dark lenses. I remember this dream to this day, and it comes back to me and has held me rooted to seeing clearly God’s plan for my life.
