Our Mission

The Church of Jesus Christ will teach the Gospel to all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost, teaching them to observe all things commanded by Jesus Christ, while working to draw Israel to Christ through efforts focused on the indigenous peoples of North, Central, and South America.

Our Vision

Living and worshipping in unity and righteousness will result in the fullness of God’s spirit and power among the saints, culminating in continuous growth of the Church and fulfillment of Christ’s promises concerning His kingdom on Earth.

Our Purpose

To fulfill the plan of God by bringing salvation through Christ to all people.

Faith

Actively believing and trusting in God.

Relying on His will and power. Faith in Christ, in His company, in His guidance.

Love/Charity

God’s love for us all. Our devotion to or adoration of God.

Loving each other with the same love that God has shown for us. Goodwill. Kindness. Generosity. Helpfulness. Tolerance. Patience.

Hope

Desire with a confident expectation of fulfillment.

Hope for resurrection and salvation. Hope for the plans and promises of God.

Unity

Oneness. Harmony. Continuity without contention. Brotherhood. Sisterhood.

Being in one Spirit—the Holy Spirit.
Holding to one Faith. Being aligned with His Word. Setting aside yourself for the sake of the whole. Working as a team.

Righteousness

Meeting the standards of Right in the eyes of Christ.

Following His instructions. Repenting of all unrighteousness. Acting in accord with divine and moral law. Maintaining faith, hope, and charity.

Congruence

Alignment of our words with our deeds.

Doing what we say we should/will do. Making our actions prove out our claims: our yeses, yes, and our noes, no.

Responsibility

Duty. Obligation. Reliability.

Accountability. Trustworthiness. Fulfilling our roles as the people of God.

Empathy

Identifying with someone else’s situation, feelings, and motives.

Putting ourselves in someone else’s shoes. Taking on the hurt of another.

Loyalty

Feelings of devotion that generate support.

Holding to Christ, His gospel, and His Church in the face of opposition. Working to overcome internal shortcomings. Being faithful.

Leadership

The ability to lead with urgency.

Creating trust and loyalty among the people. Setting an example of perseverance and faith.

Honor

Special esteem or respect, given or received.

Accepting our servitude as a privilege. Engaging with truthfulness and integrity.

Rights/Respect

Rights: Things due to a person by law or tradition. Respect: Holding another’s rights or person in high esteem.

Avoiding offense. Regarding all others as equals.

Duty

A required act or course of action. Moral obligation.

Supporting the body. Fulfilling tasks, particularly when challenged by lack of understanding or excitement.
