Today, we’re ending our travel-themed Miracle Mondays with a dream submitted by Sister Marilyn Scolaro — originally published on May 6, 2013.

Many years ago, the Lord gave me a very comforting message in a dream. My husband’s job required him to do a great amount of traveling around the country and the world. I just was never comfortable with him flying all the time. Very early one morning in March of 1986 when he left for the airport, I prayed that God would protect him and give me some peace. At the end of my prayer, I said I just need to have faith.

When I went back to bed, I laid there saying to myself, “I know I need to have faith but really what is faith?” I fell asleep and had this dream that appeared like a vision. This is what I saw. The word faith became very large and in a vertical line. The first letter, F, with the following letters stood out, and I saw the this configuration unfold:

F – does not FAIL or FALTER
A – ALWAYS ABIDING
I – IMMEASURABLE joy
T – TRUSTING
H – HOPE

As this message was appearing, I started to realize even in my dream state that this was special because I could never come up with this concept or wording of faith on my own. Even these many years later, it is still very real to me what God delivered that early morning in March. The interpretation of this powerful word has sustained me through many of life’s challenges. I thank Him for answering my question in such a beautiful and creative way.
