Today’s Miracle Monday is from Brother Wayne Martorana, where he responds to the prompt we sent out, asking for testimonies about angels.

This experience was one of the first that the Lord gave me as a young man that began to shape my faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.

When I was 12 years old, several years before I would make my covenant to serve the Lord, my parents were planning a family vacation to drive to California to meet with many of the brothers and sisters of the Church as well as some of our natural family.

Plans were for us to be gone anywhere from four to six weeks. Once I realized that, I began to be concerned for the safety of our house while we were away. That thought stayed with me from the day I knew we were planning the vacation until the time we actually left.

Finally, it was the day of our departure, and I was still concerned about the safety of our home.

As we pulled out of the driveway to begin the trip, I looked back at our home, and on the front porch, I saw an angel dressed in white holding a flaming sword, and I knew that he was sent there to protect our home while we were away.

My concerns were relieved, as I knew that the Lord would take care of everything. I later shared the blessing of this experience with my parents, and they rejoiced as well.
