I Wish I Knew God

I recently had a friend of mine tell me that she “wished she knew God the way I did.” It made me think about how I never want to take my spiritual relationship for granted. I call out to Him and know He hears me. He gives me peace that can never be compared to anything the world offers. I pray to Him and feel like I’m having a conversation with the Lord. I don’t feel like I’m just saying “words”… I feel a connection with God that runs deep into my soul.

God was always a part of our home when I was growing up. I can’t imagine my life without Him. I don’t ever want to take Him for granted, and I’m so thankful that He’s always there for me.

God is just a prayer away, and He loves each one of us. He wants us to have a personal relationship with Him. He tells us that if we search for Him with all of our heart, that we will find Him. I love that verse!

Knowing God on a deeper level is available to all of us. How awesome is His love!

There are so many in this world who don’t know God and many who want to know Him better. I want to keep that a matter of prayer and pray for those searching. I know that they will find Him, and when they do, the joy that will fill their soul will be like nothing they’ve ever experienced.

“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you. And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.” (Jeremiah 29:11-13)
