Today, we’re back to our regularly scheduled Miracle Mondays! Today’s experience is from Brother Dennis Moraco. Don’t miss our note at the end announcing February’s theme!
I would like to share with you my experience of God’s healing touch.
This past summer, I was hospitalized due to high blood pressure. While in the hospital, I complained to the doctor about a sharp pain on my right side. After further testing, it was discovered I only had one functioning kidney, the right one, and it had a small growth. More tests followed and the kidney was found to be cancerous with the cancer located in a very critical area on the kidney.
My oncologist recommended that, because of the location of the tumor, we do nothing for the time being and hope that it was a slow growing lesion. I answered the doctor that I would pray that instead of growing it would shrink to nothing.
At the October 2015 Evangelist meeting, I was anointed. The Spirit of God was so strong that Sister Gelsa Staley was walking by the meeting room and felt the Spirit of God fall upon her.
The 90-day waiting period was over, so upon returning home from conference, I went for my scheduled ultrasound and examination. After reviewing the results, my oncologist told me that the tumor was no longer visible, that it must have shrunk! He said that it was not necessary for him to see me every 90 days and to come back in a year for another ultrasound and examination.
I want to praise God for this miracle and thank my brothers and sisters in Christ for their many prayers and support.
