Today’s Miracle Monday is a classic reprint that we felt to share with you again. Thank you to Sister Melanie Suska for sharing it with us.
One winter day in school, when I was around 10 years old, the bell rang at the end of the day, and I rushed outside to get to my mom’s car. As I was walking across the snowy yard, the wind blew and somehow one of the lenses in my glasses popped out.
I had no idea where the clear, small circle of glass landed in the snow. I looked around, but I couldn’t find it. I got in the car and told my mom. She was very concerned and tried to go look for herself.
We were tight on money and she knew it would be hard to buy new glasses at that time. She couldn’t find the lens, so we went home.
The next day was Saturday, I believe. My dad and I went back to the school where thousands of kids had trampled through the front yard. By this time, I could hardly remember where I was walking when I lost it.
Dad searched in the cold and had no luck. After the second search, he got back in the car to warm up and said a prayer. He prayed that the Lord would help him find the lens. He specifically prayed that God would turn the lens red so he could see it.
God heard. God listened.
Dad went back out to search again when suddenly he saw a small, red piece of paper. It was circular in shape and about the size of a lens. He walked over to find that it was truly a piece of paper. He lifted the paper and found my lens underneath! It was not cracked or scratched at all.
God is amazing!

This is one of many blessings! I remember when Dad said you & him were going to look for the lens. I thought, “We’ll, good luck with that.” There was so much snow! How did he think that there was even a chance, of finding a tiny lens?
When you guys came back, with that perfect lens, and Dad told all that transpired…..l was in awe! I even shed a tear or two.
Our God, is an awesome God and we should never doubt what He can do for us.
