Spread the Good Word: Psalm 46:1

Today’s Good Word describes God as a shelter and stronghold. Have you ever felt like you needed a refuge from life’s storms, whether they be troubling circumstances, deteriorating relationships, or crushing disappointments? So often we try to simply escape our troubles — via entertainment, work, or by other means — rather than let God protect and deliver us.

If you feel like you’re in need of safe haven, then we pray that you turn to God in your time of need rather than away from Him. Search His word. Pour out your heart to Him in prayer. Confide in a trusted spiritual mentor.
