How blessed is the person who can honestly speak the words in this Psalm with a clean conscience? Even though we fail and fall short of Christ’s standards every day, when we repent and get back on that narrow road, when our hands once again grasp the rod of iron, we’re back on the Way.

So much in our world entices us to depart from the ways of God entirely. When we’re tempted to go the wrong direction, let’s remember all the reasons why we obey His laws — we all need to check ourselves from time to time and remember how blessed we are if we can say that we’ve kept His ways.
