There are few things that symbolize the word “permanent” better than the earth, the ancient planet we inhabit, the firm ground upon which we stand. It’s stationary, fixed, and not going anywhere … right?

This scripture reminds us that however unchanging and everlasting the earth (and even the heavens above) may seem, they’re nothing compared to God. One day, God will say, “game over” and everything that’s existed since the beginning of earthly time will vanish. And the only thing that will remain is God. 

No matter what big changes or tumultuous times you’re going through, remember that God will be there, the same yesterday, today, and forever.
