It’s so easy to forget what today’s Good Word is telling us.

We definitely don’t need to look far to find something that makes us feel insecure or vulnerable. Here’s a list on the fly:

  • Our reflection in the mirror
  • Critical words aimed at us
  • Financial hardships
  • Acts of violence we see on the news
  • Troubled relationships we’re in
  • That crazy driver who just cut us off

There are so many things that make us feel like we’re not in control, that make us feel like something really bad could happen at any moment, that make us feel like we’re less than good enough.

Well, we aren’t in control. Bad things can happen despite the best prevention. We really don’t measure up.

Good thing that God is in control. Good thing He can heal our wounds. Good thing He sent His Son to be more than enough.

Let’s remember that no matter what life throws at us we are in God’s hands, and He will see us through!
