If you find yourself feeling a little weary right now, then today’s Good Word is for you.

Tis the season for weariness. It’s the busiest time of the year, after all, and there are a lot of things to think about and prepare for, and do.

But those are probably all good things — privileges really, even though they can be stressful.

But, we know that there are many of you who are weary due to “bad stuff” in your life. We’re talking illness, misfortune, disappointment, failure, and maybe even the consequences of sin … true hardships.

Taking this verse more in context, there are also many people out there who are unbelieving, trying to figure out life without Christ as a factor. Now, that’s some heavy labor!

We pray that you take heart in the promise this verse holds. If we come to the Lord and put our faith in Him, then He will give us rest.
