Is there someone in need of your mercy today? Perhaps someone needs your forgiveness. Maybe the person needs you to let him off the hook or just give him a little break. Or, she needs you to be understanding and step in her shoes.

Today’s Good Word tells us that we should extend the same mercy to others as we’ve received from the Father.

We all make mistakes, big and small. We all fall short, sometimes just an inch and other times … more. When you’re ready to hammer someone for the wrong reasons and with all the wrong motivations, step back and reflect on what this verse means in your situation. And remember, when you’re merciful, you emulate the Father.
