We hope that today’s Good Word encourages you to look forward to a time of peace. This will be a time when we won’t worry about anything hurting or destroying us, a time when every person on earth will know the Lord. 

It’s difficult to imagine the broken world we live in eventually enjoying such blessing, such union with God that we’ll all experience peace like we’ve never known before — peace from external threat and also the inner peace that comes from knowing God. 

Even if this may seem like it’s far off, it’s a worthy hope, a beautiful promise to cling to. If things seem a little bleak for you right now, take hold of this scripture and the many others that point to a better day, and remember that we are living for so much more than what we’re capable of seeing before us.
