Today’s Good Word makes us ask the question, “What’s your foundation made of?”

This verse tell us that the foundation of life should be the rock of Christ — His salvation and grace, His Word, His commandments, His example.

Is your foundation made of pure rock? Or are there other things mixed in? A good experiment is to ask yourself, “Where do I sense there are cracks in my foundation?” or perhaps “What part of my foundation didn’t withstand the wind and the rain of hard times?” and look there to discover any weak points.

The good news is that Jesus Christ truly desires to be our solid rock — and if we aren’t building entirely in Him, then He can correct us and make those weak points strong.
