We hope that you enjoyed this week’s New Year’s-inspired articles. May today’s Good Word remind you of the fresh start that Christ offers.

Following Jesus doesn’t mean that you have to give up your identity or “be like everyone else.” It means that the Lord changes you for the better, changes your heart — the fountain of all your emotions, desires, and passions — to be aligned to His perfect will. 

It doesn’t happen with the wave of a magic wand or after following a three-step plan for 30 days. It’s a lifelong journey. Or, rather, the journey of a lifetime.
