Spread the Good Word: 1 Chronicles 16:11

Have you ever envisioned an imaginary line. On one side of the line is “good” and on the other side is “evil.” As long as you stay on the “good” side, you’re good with God. If you cross that line into “evil” territory, then you’re not.

Have you ever tried to get as close to the line as possible without crossing it? Tried to see how much bad behavior you can get away with and still be called a Christian?

Today’s Good Word reminds us that we are called to seek God’s face continually. That means, we are supposed to turn our back on that imaginary line, turning entirely away from evil and sin, striving as much as possible to take steps toward the good — toward God.

We pray that as your walk with the Lord deepens and grows that your desire is to seek His face more than anything else life can offer.
