Spread the Good Word: 1 Chronicles 16:11

There’s nothing scary about Friday the 13th, but there is something scary about trying to live life in your own strength and not God’s. Today’s Good Word reminds us to seek the Lord’s will and the Lord’s plan. Since we aren’t perfect, we also need His strength to keep His commands, follow His path, and stay true to His word. When we do this, we are seeking His face.

It’s so easy to seek after other things that seem more tangible, more immediate, more happy-producing. But those things don’t always live up to their promises, and they don’t often stand the test of time. But God’s path and power will never fail us.

So very true. God’s Word is truth and has stood the test of time for many years in my life. Things and people fade and fail but God never leaves me on my own. Praise to God.

I totally agree with the blog and Sis. Sylvia. It is mentioned about it being Friday the 13th. It was 22 years ago that I was baptized on Friday, January 13th and that was an amazing day and a day I made the best decision of my life! 🙂
