Today, we’re pausing our regularly scheduled Miracle Monday to bring you this beautiful thought by Brother David Nolfi.
In this fast-paced corporate world of opportunity, qualifications, advancement, position, and prosperity, one and all would do well to recognize that knowing the Lord surpasses all of our accomplishments!
Jeremiah 9:23-24: “Thus saith the LORD, Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, neither let the mighty man glory in his might, let not the rich man glory in his riches: But let him that glorieth glory in this, that he understandeth and knoweth me, that I am the LORD which exercise lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness, in the earth: for in these things I delight, saith the LORD.”
The most vital aspect of these verses in the Word of God is DO YOU KNOW THE LORD?
Is He the center of your life, or do you just acknowledge His existence? Is He a guiding influence or a passing thought? Is time given in thankfulness, in supplication, in reverence to Him — or are you just too busy?
Knowing and understanding the Lord is far more valuable than our successes. Accepting the Lord and committing to an active life of worship and service is a treasure of untold happiness and wealth!
I glory in it!
