Lame Man Healed in Zambia in 2021

by | May 17, 2021 | Healings, Miracles | 11 comments

Have you read the story of the lame man in Mark 2? Jesus was surrounded by a large group of people, and the lame man was lowered into the room from the ceiling. Jesus healed him, and he immediately stood and walked.

Ring any bells?

Some say that the miracles of Jesus were only for that day and time. Well, we’re excited to tell you about the same type of miracle happening today in the year 2021.

Skeptical? Read on.

In Zambia, Africa, Andrew Banda awoke one morning to complete paralysis. He could not move from his chest down. His family took him to the hospital, and for the next three months he underwent test after test. Finally, the doctors gave up and sent him home.

For the next three years his parents cared for him.

One day, at a doctor’s appointment, a young nurse, a sister in The Church of Jesus Christ, spoke with Andrew. She told him about when she was diagnosed with a cancerous tumor on her breast. She was anointed by an Elder of The Church of Jesus Christ, as written in the book of James, and was healed.

She told him to go to The Church of Jesus Christ in Chililabombwe and ask Pastor Chalwe to anoint him.

On Sunday, Mar. 28, 2021, Andrew Banda was carried on a blanket by four people, to the front of The Church of Jesus Christ in Chililabombwe, Zambia, where he was anointed with oil. After being anointed he was carried back home.

The following Sunday (Easter, April 4, 2021) while the church meeting was in session, a man walked into the building, jumping up and down and causing a stir. Brother Chalwe quickly recognized Andrew as the man who was anointed the previous week.

Andrew came with his relatives desiring to be baptized into the church. Today he is our brother in Christ, Brother Andrew Banda.

We serve a God who is the same yesterday, today, and forever. We know and see it confirmed to us by the power of God that Jesus Christ, the Son of God, has power on earth to not only heal the lame, but to forgive the sins of the repentant.

We give Him all honor, glory and praise.

God Is Good All the Time! All the Time God Is Good!
