In anticipation of Easter celebrations this month, we asked the kids to flex their imaginations on a very heavenly topic: the paradise of God. Because of Christ’s sacrifice on the cross and His resurrection on the third day, we have the hope of living with Him forever in heaven!

Many of us have wondered what heaven will look like, where we’ll live, what we’ll do. Here are the musings of our littlest ones when we asked them, “What do you think heaven looks like?”

Pinetop, AZ

Robby P. (10) – I think heaven would be made out of gold. And it is inside the clouds.
Fara B. (9) – It is God’s kingdom. It is brown and has a lot of people. Angels are everywhere.
Dylan P. (8) – Lots and lots of pretty trees and rivers and angels and God. God will be sitting on a throne. The white fruit will be up there.
Zandell B. (8) – Plain white with people walking around. Jesus and angels will be there.
Isaiah C. (4) – God and Jesus

Erie, PA

Our kids shared lots of brilliant answers such as

  • Beautiful
  • Holy
  • Rainbows
  • Mansions
  • Angels
  • Loved ones
  • Pets
  • Gardens (We even had one little guy draw a beautiful Mango tree!)

Enjoy these photos of the Erie kids illustrating their ideas of heaven.

And, finally, here’s a cute video of Victoria K. (8), Catte’e H. (10), Hudson M. (5), Isabella K. (11), and Abigail M. (5). describing heaven in their own words. Click here to watch if you’re reading on email.
