I Finally Found My Place

Today’s article is a testimony by Sister Joann Cotellesse from the Pinetop-Lakeside Branch, Arizona.

I was first starting to come to The Church of Jesus Christ because I was dating Brother Joe. I was praying about whether or not I should leave my former church and go with him to The Church of Jesus Christ. 

I had a dream. 

In the dream, I entered my previous church building and started looking for a place to sit, and the ushers were trying to help me find a spot, but they could not find a spot for me. 

I then saw my natural sister, Diane, who looked at me and said that I did not belong there and there was no spot for me.

I knew that this was the answer to my prayer. I got baptized in The Church of Jesus Christ in Edison Lake in Belleville, Michigan, on July 9, 1972—exactly 50 years ago. It was the best decision I ever made.
