Happy Memorial Day! For today’s Miracle Monday, we’d like to share two testimonies of the restoration — it’s been a while since we’ve done this! Our first call for these testimonies inspired two sisters to remember dreams that they had many years ago. We hope you enjoy reading them!

I had a dream not long after I was baptized. There were different people coming up to me and asking me, “How do you know this is the true church?” and I heard a voice say, “Tell them read Moroni 2:2. As the dream went on, more people were coming up to me very quickly, and the voice kept saying the same thing, except it got louder. “Tell them read Moroni 2:2.” I did as the voice told me, and told the people. Then, I woke up.

When I woke up, the dream was heavy on my mind, and I quickly went to read this scripture because I did not know it by memory. I was so blessed after reading Moroni 2:2, “And he called them by name, saying: Ye shall call on the Father in my name, in mighty prayer; and after ye have done this ye shall have power that to him upon whom ye shall lay your hands, ye shall give the Holy Ghost; and in my name shall ye give it, for thus do mine apostles.”

This verse has come to me several times since. I am so thankful we have the pure doctrine of Christ as He set it up.

Nearly 30 years ago, I had a dream. I was concerned about some unrest I was having at church. One night, God gave me a dream where I found myself in our branch, and a very old man appeared in the back of the building holding a very old book that I knew I had seen before. I felt he was a member of our church, but I didn’t know him. He gave me the book to keep. As I accepted the book, I saw it was a Bible and immediately found myself on the top of a mountain where another man, evil, appeared and fought me, trying to take the book away. I won the fight, but as I won, the book turned into the Book of Mormon. It was a wonderful feeling.

When I related this dream in a testimony meeting, a brother stood and said, “Don’t let anyone take your crown.” I then knew that I could never let anything in life question my faith or belief.
