Today’s Miracle Monday is an experience had by Sister Denise DiFalco-Dickson, which she shared in her testimony in March 2021.
In our Sunday service on March 14, 2021, the sermon was a plea to come to the water and answer the call of Christ. Our brother finished his sermon by asking us to consider what our eternal destination was and the glory that awaits us in God’s heavenly kingdom. That question reminded me of a dream the Lord had given me the night before. So, I shared this beautiful experience in my testimony following the sermon.
Throughout the past week, I was especially sorrowful because I was mourning the loss of several of my cousins who passed away at a young age. I told the Lord I missed them terribly.
That Saturday night, I dreamed I was at Branch 1, worshipping with my brothers and sisters. It was a Spirit-filled meeting and I wished so much that my cousin, Sister Patricia Saragosa, could have been in attendance, but I knew she had passed away in August 2013. We attended church together many times, sharing in the blessings, washing each other’s feet.
In my dream, I happened to look behind me, and in walked my cousin Patty looking so beautiful and so alive! I kept wondering, “How can she be here with me if she passed away…?” But she was alive! More importantly she was so happy.
When I awoke, I realized that God was showing me the afterlife—that our loved ones are not gone, but alive in Paradise. What a wonderful, exciting thought!
No matter what we go through, we have so much to look forward to.
This was a great comfort to me and a confirmation of the message that morning to keep our eyes on our Heavenly destination. Praise God!
Too Blessed Not to Share
Special thanks to the brothers and sisters who were so blessed by Sister Denise’s testimony that they encouraged her to write it down and share it here.
