Hi kids! Sister Linda is back with another awesome video for you.
(You not a kid? Forward today’s post to a child in your life.)
Do you remember last time when we talked about how Captain Moroni from the Book of Mormon (kinda) reminded us of Captain America from the comics? If you missed it, you can catch up here.
Well, today, we’re going to talk about dynamic duos.
What is a “dynamic duo”? It’s when a leader and a partner team up to do great things. Have you ever heard of Batman and Robin? They work together to rid Gotham City of criminals and evildoers.
Can you think of any dynamic duos in scripture?
There are actually a lot of them!
For example, there’s Moses and Aaron, who led Israel out of slavery in Egypt and toward the Promised Land.
David and Jonathan were best friends, and Jonathan even saved David’s life.
Queen Esther wouldn’t have got far without Mordecai’s wise guidance.
Also, there’s Paul and Silas, two great missionaries.
(Test a grown-up to see if they can think of other dynamic duos!)
In today’s lesson, we’re going to discuss a dynamic duo from the Book of Mormon: Alma and Amulek. Have fun watching the video. There’s a craft at the end, too!
