Does Your Mouth Water?

Within the Word of God, the account of the ministry of Jesus Christ paints a brilliant picture of deliverance, miracles, healings, and glorious power unparalleled.

How marvelous would it be to know someone who is born blind and see him receive sight? How miraculous to feed 5,000 people out of one pot? How magnificent to see a soul delivered from demonic possession? How powerful to see a storm rebuked? How wonderful to witness the lame walk, the deaf hear, cancer cleansed, the dead raised?

How much greater to know that a lost soul shackled in sin is delivered by the resurrecting power of Jesus Christ?

Is there a yearning? Is there a thirst, a longing, a prayerful desire to witness the Glory of God? Does faith look forward with expectation? Is hope steadfast and immovable? Is our purpose fixed upon Christ? Are we knocking? Are we pounding on the door of heaven?

“And now, I, Moroni, would speak somewhat concerning these things; I would show unto the world that faith is things which are hoped for and not seen; wherefore, dispute not because ye see not, for ye receive no witness until after the trial of your faith.” (Ether 12:6)

We are called to endure that we may rejoice at the Lord’s visitation!

“Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.” (Matt. 5:6) A feast of blessings is set before us; let us press on humbly, obediently, meekly, diligently, prayerfully … that we may rejoice in the glory of God revealed!
