Spread the Good Word: Proverbs 3:6

Isn’t it interesting how desperate we get for what’s on the second sign in today’s Good Word graphic — God’s direction, His leading, knowing which path to take — yet we’re not so keen on doing what’s in the first sign — acknowledging Him in all our ways?

Even if we did follow God’s every commandment, written in scripture and written by revelation in our hearts, Mosiah 2:21 says that we still wouldn’t merit a second thought from the Father. He guides and directs us because He takes pleasure in our obedience and keeps His word out of grace, not because He owes us. Just a thought to ponder for the weekend.
