Isn’t it wonderful to know that, no matter what, God shows up. It doesn’t matter when, how, or where it happens. It falls into place at the right time. His perfect timing, and not a minute too late. He shows up when He knows it’s time.

We have people in our lives who we know we can depend on, as well as those who we know will either cancel on us or be late to things. That happens because we are only human. But, God … He will never cancel or be late, and we can always depend on Him. He always shows up!

Just like friend who show up when we need them the most, God does the same thing. He’s there when we need Him. He’s a man of His word!

I know we can all remember a time when God showed up for us. He has for me many, many times in my life. A few years ago, there was something important that I was really praying about. I was at a point when I just wanted God to tell me exactly what to do. Haven’t we all felt like that?

I had a brother in the church (who doesn’t even attend my branch) come up to me one Sunday. When this brother saw me, the Lord spoke to him and gave him a message. This brother had no idea of what I was praying about. But…God showed up. It was the most plain-as-day message, and it was the answer I needed to hear. It was beautiful and I will forever keep it close to my heart.

Days later, I was still thinking about this one part of the message that the Lord gave him. When this brother heard the Lord speak about me, He said, “My daughter…”

Wow. Instant chills! Knowing that God called me His daughter brought me to absolute tears. Not only did He show up for me, but He called me His Own.

We serve a mighty God, a loving Father, and One who calls all of us His children.

“For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.” (Galatians 3:26)
