Mark 8…

22. And he cometh to Bethsaida; and they bring a blind man unto him, and besought him to touch him.

23. And he took the blind man by the hand, and led him out of the town; and when he had spit on his eyes, and put his hands upon him, he asked him if he saw ought.

24. And he looked up, and said, I see men as trees, walking.

25. After that he put his hands again upon his eyes, and made him look up: and he was restored, and saw every man clearly

On the first go around, the blind man saw men as trees … very interesting!

I know when I breathe, I’m not thinking about my exhale supplying plant life with what it needs to survive, but I actually am. I just breathe! As I do, I provide life to the plants. It is a very complicated process, but my part is just to breathe.

When Christ talked to His disciples, He asked them to follow Him, and He would make them fishers of men. Our salvation brings about the natural desire to share with others. Our salvation is just the first half. Now it is time to be fishers of men. I am a follower of Christ with His spirit inside of me … now what? I say, just breathe! Live your life being like Christ, and you will be a fisher of men. Don’t complicate things with questions like, “What should I say?” or “What if they don’t listen?” Just breathe! You can supply life to the lifeless by being the new creature Christ promised you’d be!

Regardless of whether the world is going down the tubes or getting better, the behavior doesn’t change. Just breathe! Strive to be like Christ at all times in all things, and you will be a fisher.

Let’s change the world and just breathe!

    Psalm 98:1–3
O sing to the LORD a new song; for he has done marvelous things: his right hand, and his holy arm, has gotten him the victory. The LORD has made known his salvation: his righteousness has he openly showed in the sight of the heathen. He has remembered his mercy and his truth toward the house of Israel: all the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God.

Praise to Our Lord our True God Jesus Christ.
