Today is the final day of GMBA Camp! This morning, three busses filled with young people left campus for Lake Perris to witness the scheduled baptisms. The Lord was not done calling souls because more requested baptism at the water’s edge. What a blessing to witness lives changed, and what a blessed assurance to know that it’s because of Christ’s righteousness that we are saved!

My Camp Takeaway
Sister Debbie Kyriakakos – “What really touched me was Brother Jerry Valenti explaining about the peace that passes understanding — how this peace comforts us in time of turmoil, that the world cannot understand this kind of peace. And he referred to things that try to rob our peace and encouraged us to remember that the Prince of Peace is there for us always with that peace that passes ALL understanding!”
Sister Alison Payne – “Our seminar split into five groups, and each was given some verses. We were given the story of Nephi getting the brass plates from Laban. After failing the first few times, Laman and Lemuel were ready to give up, but Nephi attempted to get the plates one more time because the Lord had commanded it. This time, he didn’t have a plan. He just trusted God that He would make a way. I could relate to him when he said, “And I was led by the Spirit, not knowing beforehand the things which I should do.” I believe this stood out to me the most. Much of my life, I didn’t know what to do next. I just depended on the Lord and let His Spirit lead me. My goal is to trust the Lord more like Nephi.”
Holly Hemmings – “God’s grace is enough for me. When I am weak, He makes up the difference in the area I’m lacking to overcome the things I thought I couldn’t do.”
