For Us—Multiplied by Four Us

by | Aug 18, 2024 | Gods Love | 0 comments

This last venture into the “For Us” portion of the word of God takes us to Romans 8, where the two-word combination is used four times within a ten-verse span of scripture.

It seems when God wants to bring something to our attention, He repeats it. In our own lives, if we need to learn something, we repeat it over and over, either by writing it down or verbalizing it over and over.

“Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.” (Romans 8:26)

God intercedes and gives us the words we need to pray when sometimes we have no words.

“What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?” (Romans 8:31)

When challenges in this life are stacked against us, God is always there.

“He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?” (Romans 8:32)

God gave the best and most important part of Himself that was in heaven. God held nothing back.

“Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.” (Romans 8:34)

The spiritual strength that we have in this life is powered by the death and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ.

God’s love for us is infinite and unfailing.

God Bless you all.
