Today’s Good Word reminds us of who we are — God’s sheep, His followers, His beloved, protected flock. There are a million voices out there telling you the opposite. They are telling you that, instead of being one of God’s sheep, you are actually God, the one in charge, the boss. 

As tempting as it is to believe that we grip the reins, it’s a falsehood. This weekend, let’s try to keep our perspective. Placing our focus, our hope, and our plans in the only safe place available — the will of God.

Get Ready, Get Set … Snap!

Many of you are probably looking forward to Memorial Day next weekend. We are, too — and it’s not just because of Aunt Mabel’s famed potato salad. We’ve got a fun activity planned for the summer on the Gospel Blog, and it’s starting next weekend. All we can tell you right now is that you’re going to want to keep your camera handy and practice your best, “Cheeeeeeese!”
