The Case of the Not-So Silent Night
If you're experiencing Christmas withdrawls now that the holidays are over and you've taken down your decorations, then we have a treat in store for you. Back in December, the Mesa Branch kids performed a play called "The Case of the Not-So Silent Night: A Hard-Boiled Christmas Courtroom Drama," and we're sharing it with you today!
The play takes place in the Honorable Willow Snooze's courtroom, where she's hearing case No. 57123782134B, the People vs. Josiah, Abel, and Seth, sons of Jacob, three shepherds who are accused of disorderly conduct and disturbing the peace.
Watch as the prosecuting and defending attorneys face off.
Meet witnesses like Dr. Sigmund Fruitcake...
...Sophia Busybody, and...
...Ms. Gotta Lotta.
Watch for the surprise witness at the end, a foreign dignitary from a faraway land.
Will Josiah, Abel, and Seth be convicted and thrown in jail? Or will the truth set them free? You have to watch the riveting action to find out.
We hope you enjoy revisiting the Christmas story as reenacted by these great kids.
