Heavenly Harvest in Burundi
Today's missionary-themed Miracle Monday comes from the mission field — Burundi to be exact. Enjoy this beautiful testimony from Brother Deo in his own words.
I grew rice in one of the valleys of Bujumbura during the summer season, and it was not easy to water it. You know we have two main seasons here in Burundi, the winter, and the summer. The winter is more productive than the summer.
The capital was $500, and I got one ton of ground rice during the harvest. This is equivalent to $1,000. I have looked at other rice fields around mine, and I noticed the owners will not even come to look, because, either the sun, or insects destroyed all. I am among few people who did a good harvest although my workers were discouraged just when they were starting to cultivate the land. They were told we shall not reap because of the sun, and they answered The Lord will watch the field of His worker He loves so much.
And this is just what happened. It was exciting to see the field when it was time to harvest. I took 100 kgs and dedicated them to the Lord throughout poor people and The Church of Jesus Christ.
