God Turns Confusion to Clarity

Today's Miracle Monday comes to us from the pages of the Detroit Branch 1 history. This is the experience of Brother Anthony Scolaro during a time of confusion about the Book of Mormon.
In the early 1930s, when I was a young man of 17 years (baptized for about a year and a half) there was an Elder in our Detroit Branch #1 who had decided that the Book of Mormon was not true. He was very persuasive, and convinced several brothers and sisters to renounce this Book and leave The Church.
Needless to say, this caused much confusion and division in the Branch. Several experiences were given to comfort and bring understanding to the Saints, but I personally wanted to know the truth for myself and inquired of the Lord, who gave me the following dream:
It seemed I was at my uncle’s house, sitting around the dining room table with other members of The Church including Brother Raphael Frammolino – an ordained Teacher. He was reading and teaching from a large Bible. My uncle went to answer a knock at the door and was given a package. When he opened the package at the table, we discovered it contained a most beautiful Book of Mormon with its letters embossed in GOLD! Brother Frammolino then took the Book of Mormon and placed it firmly on top of the Bible, putting the two books together as one.
My dream ended and I was satisfied with the Lord’s confirmation that BOTH The Bible and The Book of Mormon are HIS word!
Let's Tell Experiences
Many of you have fond memories of sitting around a table with other brothers and sisters, cups of coffee in hand, talking about the things of God and relating experiences and miracles. These times build our faith and strengthen our bonds with one another. Miracle Monday is kind of like that — just without coffee, sorry — and we just love to hear what you all have to share. If you've got a story of God's goodness to tell, we're all ears. Click here to share.
