Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner

We are accustomed to the blessing of three meals a day and a variety of food that satisfies our palette. Our grocery stores are filled with abundance, and God continues His blessings upon this Promised Land.

As God-fearing men and women, we begin our meals with a prayer of blessing and thanksgiving: Most of the time the prayers are brief and should always be sincere. Day in and day out, throughout the years of our lives, we thank God that there has never been a want for food.

If difficult or trying circumstances were to arise so that food became scarce and we possibly go without food for a day or two, maybe three or God forbid a week, and somehow in some miraculous way food is provided, how then would the offering of our prayer over the food change?

1 Thessalonians 5:18 “In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.”

AMEN!! I know I take things for granted. Even when I thank God for what I have, it would never be as great as when I would be without and suddenly get it like your blog states. Great job Brother David!!
