Behind the Scenes: Meet the Bloggers

This week, we're going behind the scenes of the Gospel Blog, showing you all the prayers and effort that go into making it happen. Today, we're getting personal. We want you to meet some of our regular writers. These are folks who have agreed to contribute one article per month — many of them do much more. Check them out below!

Behind the Scenes of the Gospel Blog

We're taking another break from our regularly scheduled programming to bring you a special series about none other than ... the Gospel Blog!

We want to give you an inside peek into how the blog works. We didn't choose this topic because we're self-centered. Many of you may be new to the blog, and even if you're not, you probably have no idea who is on the committee or what goes into producing a week's worth of posts.

It's time to pull back the curtain and reveal all our secrets! (Just kidding. We have no secrets.)

Spartanburg Youth in Action Field Journal: Day 1

This week, we have a very special treat for you! Directly after GMBA Campout, a group of young people traveled to Spartanburg for Youth in Action, where they dedicated the week to community service. The theme was "Make Me a Blessing."

Each day, one of the tour participants kept a field journal, recording tidbits from the trip. This week, we're sharing thoughts, reflections, and humorous anecdotes as told by five different young people. We want to give a big thanks to Sister Alyssa Maddox for coordinating this at our request! She did an awesome job recruiting writers for each day.

So, without further ado...

Spread the Good Word: 2 Nephi 8:15

We hope you enjoyed Beach Week on the blog. Hopefully you felt warm breezes, scented ocean spray, and powdery soft sand — especially if you are landlocked — and, most importantly, we hope it brought you insight into how we can see God reflected in His creation.
