Recently, I attended the Ft. Worth branch for feet washing. The subject of the day's sermon was how Jesus is the only one who can put us back together when we're broken.
Am I broken? And if so, why?
Well, yes, I'm broken, just like we all are. We're broken because Adam and Eve partook of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. It's somewhat ironic that just days before my visit I was thinking of that very subject and our creation. I was walking through the process of why God created us the way He did.
Why would God make a broken creature? That would be contrary to who He is. Everything He does is perfect and good. So how can broken human beings be considered good?
